Flavia Tata Nardini is Co-founder and CEO of Fleet Space Technologies, one of Australia’s most exciting tech scale-ups. As a real-life rocket scientist and former propulsion test engineer at the European Space Agency, Flavia holds two patents and has contributed to a broad range of innovative space projects. Along with her team at Fleet Space Technologies, Flavia led the development and launch of Australia's first commercial low Earth orbit satellite constellation before turning that pioneering space technology towards one of the world's biggest challenges: finding the critical minerals needed for the energy transition. Today, together with her team, she is combining satellites, seismic sensing and AI to transform mineral exploration, delivering real-time intelligence that reveals the Earth's hidden mineral systems and redefines how we explore our planet.
Flavia holds an Adjunct Professor position at Adelaide University, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, is part of the Board of Director at Austmine, serves as Mission Chair of the 7Sisters Moon Mission and she is Governors for AmCham. A dynamic speaker, Flavia has delivered a TEDx talk and regularly features on international conference stages. A strong advocate for women in STEM, she is dedicated to empowering the next generation of leaders.
