Exploring under deep cover in a remote jungle is among the toughest operational challenges in mining. For Lundin Gold at Fruta del Norte, traditional methods couldn’t resolve the structures controlling mineralisation, leaving costly uncertainty in both resource definition and exploration
planning. They needed data they could act on, fast.
The breakthrough
Fleet Space Technologies, through its newly acquired HiSeis active seismic capability, delivered a high-resolution, 4 km-deep view of the deposit.
