Your expertise will be crucial in guiding our strategic decisions and ensuring our marketing efforts are laser-focused on delivering maximum impact.
Responsibilities: 
Market & Customer Research:
  • Lead market intelligence initiatives: Utilize internal platforms to extract insights, set alerts, and ensure we stay ahead in key areas. Employ a multi-faceted approach, including both existing data analysis and creative methodologies like surveys, interviews, focus groups, and social media listening, to gather data on market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities.
  • Develop deep customer knowledge and profiles: Gain a comprehensive understanding of our target customer segments, including their organizations, key personnel, interests, investment initiatives, preferences, and pain points. Generate and maintain lists of high-potential target clients, aligned with our market penetration goals. Develop in-depth client profiles to guide sales, marketing, and product development efforts.
  • Total Accessible Market, Market Share and Market Penetration: Under the guidance of the product marketing manager, utilize your comfort with numbers to calculate market share and market penetration figures, utilizing both top-down and bottom-up approaches. Monitor the evolution of our market penetration, staying aware of contract signings and the nature/type of these contracts.
Competitive Intelligence:
  • Stay ahead of the competition: Proactively monitor competitor activities, marketing strategies, and product offerings.
  • Assess competitive landscape: Conduct in-depth comparisons of competitor capabilities vs. ours, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and potential risks.
  • Gather exclusive intelligence: Utilize various channels (sales interactions, conferences, social media) to uncover non-public information, such as pricing, product roadmaps, client lists, and revenue data.
Reporting, Analysis & Collaboration:
  • Deliver regular reports and updates: Prepare market research reports and presentations tailored to diverse stakeholders. Keep stakeholders informed with regular updates on market trends, emerging opportunities, and the competitive landscape.
  • Foster cross-functional analysis: Collaborate effectively with marketing, product management, sales, and other teams to align research with business objectives. Proactively disseminate insights and recommendations to drive data-driven strategic initiatives across the organization.
  • Handle monthly marketing reporting: Prepare and deliver comprehensive monthly marketing reports for the leadership team, highlighting key metrics and performance insights. Assess marketing campaign effectiveness, track key metrics, and provide regular reports and recommendations to the marketing team.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in market research or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in market research tools and techniques (e.g., surveys, data analysis software).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
